What is wrong with ERP

ERP or Electronic Road Pricing as we call it here in Singapore as what the government claims is to better control road usage on Singapore Roads. The recent adjustments to the ERP however has created in my mind a new image and purpose of what this is really for, control.

I will illustrate this in a moment.

Back in World war two, Germany grew to such powers due to the same reason the Singapore Government has grown to be able to change and bend the country in the way few people at the top wishes.

The persecusion of Jews during World war two did not start out like this. This is how it played out
Jews made to wear carry ID cards. Once the Germans got their way of "little atrocities" they wanted MORE...
Jews then were made to wear arm bands for identificaiton
Then came the murders.. strangely millions complied

Take a look at the ERP.
It started out with just ERP in the CBD area. The reason given was that it was a congested city.
Then came the ERP along the express ways going to work
Then came the ERP going back home along CTE
Now its even on ECP and PIE.

We question in silence and mutter under our breadth why this is happening?
It did not ease the traffic and we are seeing more and more cars on the road. Our road taxes are no cut either neither is the COE more expensive.

Let me tell you another story during WWII. Known to many the Jews in Denmark were not persecuted or executed. The reason for that happening was this.
When the germans asked the Jews to wear the Star of David .... the King of denmark made a simple yet important gesture that saved the Jews in Denmark.
When Germans ordered the King of Denmark to instruct the Jew living in Dane to wear the Star of David, his reply was that all DANEs regardless of race was to wear it.
His actions to stand up against tyranny allowed the Jew in Denmark to be saved.

Our belief system today tells us it is NOT our problem , dun rock the boat, dun ask for trouble, has caused us to be in the current plight we are in allowing the Government to Bend us backwards to live here.

500,000 for a HDB flat is a fair amount to live in because it is on the 30th storey?
with a combined income of $5000 a month you will take 8.3 years to pay it off if you plan to go without EVERYTHING no water no lights no FOOD no clothes hehehe...

we should group together as people of Singapore and tell out government to stop, but then again.. it is someone else's problem ... or is it.....
